Excited to meet people at the RI Saltwater Fishing show next weekend. I am lucky to be hanging out with a top notch group: Snug Harbor Marina! Hoping to meet fishermen and woman who have chronic pain issues.
Tried a new hemp topical cream from B&B Consulting RI and it actually stopped extreme pain in forearms!!!!
The snow is melting and soon the first herring will be making their way up the rivers to spawn. Also, the Fishing Show at the Convention Center is coming soon.
As for the fibro diary, Ive been able to to get in 1-2 miles worth of steps in despite some intense pain at work and home. The braces I got for my wrists make typing sooooo much easier. CBD oil works in emergencies
This was an almost head to Boston week. Teaching Middle School is painful at times lol, but this real pain was scary. I don't enjoy having to stay near my desk fighting back tears. For some reason this pain flare up is among the worst ever. I am using every trick in my arsenal to continue working full time. I change positions, practice deep breathing and mindfulness techniques, and even tried supports used for carpal tunnel which are great. I also saw some more positive research being done with hemp based CBD products. I was in bed by 8:30 every night this week as rest is key.
On the positive side, I have silicone wristbands and other merchandise coming soon! Also, I have made connections with great people who are willing to help organize family fun fishing tournaments. The Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Saltwater Fishing Show is a few weeks away. I am also working on a proposal with Mercury Marine to obtain prizes for my tournaments.
This weekend I was able to do around 3 miles of steps which is great. However, I wasn't suspecting the backlash of pain which forced me to lay down in the afternoon, and to go to bed at 7:30 last night. It feels like shins knees and spine are fractured, along with intense burning. I know nothing is fractured, so I listen to my body and recoup. Despite this, got to school before 7 today!!!!! As for fishing, I launched episode 1 of the You Tube channel (Search Richard Geldard), and my dad continues to make jigs and flies so we will be ready for early season stripers and opening day for trout!
This week has been a rough pain week for legs. Lot of intense burning. Able to do about 2 miles total steps. However, I have created my you tube channel (Richard Geldard) with some cool fishing moments from last season. Check it out and remember I"m a novice so it will only get better!!
Fighting a cold with fibromyalgia feels like having bouts with the flu. At times your body burns badly and gets so weak. It's hard to determine if you have a fever since everything aches.
As far as fishing goes, there was a kayaker spotted in between ice flows at a local river.
Also, white perch have been biting on and off all winter. Even better, a huge sale started at Bass Pro Shops today!!!!
